「Très jolie pied à terre en dehors de la ville. Proche de l’aéroport donc pratique. Charmant.」

「Margarita greeted us warmly and showed us our room. The resort has seen better days especially the pool area. The bed was comfy with nice linen but the kitchen needed a good clean. Luckily we didn’t need to use it. A breakfast was offered with various options. This is fine for a brief overnight stay. 」

「Apartment came with living room kitchen bath and bedroom with a nice view of the river below. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious in the morning with a wonderful batado (mixed fruit smoothie) along with gallo pinto.」

「I did not use parking. The neighborhood did not feel safe, so I did not go anywhere.」

Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. We were not able to stay for free breakfast, but coffee was available:wrapped muffin was soft and and almost tasteless. 」

「Website says to contact them to arrange a second shuttle service, but the receptionist said they do not call or arrange for another. Frustrating that a hotel can’t arrange for this!」

「Oasis right by the airport. Nice grounds, good breakfast, nice rooms.」

「Adriana, the property owner, was very welcoming. She covered all the logistics clearly and she also arranged for our shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. Our only issue was finding it as Costa Rica does not have street addresses. There was a map and description so we got close but needed help. Our taxi driver was able to phone Adriana for assistsnce.」
