「Beautiful property, well cared for, clean and so comfortable. Plenty of room for us all (we had 6 people) Beds were amazingly comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were stocked and clean. We honestly had no issues. The host was easy to reach and quick to respond when we had a question, and Causeway amenities were all wonderful. We had a wonderful time.」

「The site is very worn. Definitely needs revamping. Not terribly clean: carpets worn, upholstery worn. Paint needs touching up. Pools not monitored or very clean. A group of young teenage boys were in the pool unsupervised and throwing a ball around hitting into our group with a young child, Our relatives asked to move rooms when theirs smelled like dog pee and they found a tick on the wall.」

「Outside the hotel needs some cement work done on porch supports. The room I had was clean and nice. The floor on the second floor was soft in front of the elevator; Breakfast is not included, just coffee. The hotel was nice, but in need of repairs by the owner. The staff was very friendly and helpful.」

「We had the single queen with the jacuzzi bathtub in it so it was a double room. Lots of space, wood cabin feel, clean, kitchenette. LOVED this hotel! Cross Lake is a touristy town near other touristy towns. We found kayak rentals in Cross Lake and bike rentals in Nisswa and had a wonderful stay here. There’s a cafe and gift shop right next door.」

「Staff not on site. Bedsheets and pillowcases hadn't been cleaned. Multiple complaints from other customers. Doors didn't lock. No cold water. Next time would pay $100 more to stay an Wyndham. Weird experience.... wouldn't recommend.」

「It smelled like smoke when we walked in. Gentleman at front desk was very kind & accommodating. We went to check out the room and immediately knew we wouldn’t be staying. Didn’t even bring our bags in - left and got a room at the Holday Inn. I have NEVER walked out of a hotel but it just wasn’t a good feeling by any of the 4 in our party.」

「On a hot day, late check-in, no air conditioning, instead the baseboard heat was on. Turned the thermostat off but it stayed warm until morning. Very poorly lit premises and hallway/entrance and it stunk like musty smoke. Nothing on the website(s) indicated you have to go a half a block away to check in to get the key, and it would have been very difficult to find that place in the dark had we not randomly run into another guest. There was barely enough shampoo there to wash your hands, and no...

「Beautiful lakefront property. Enjoyed our one night stay in the Mission Point section. Would request first floor next time in this section if traveling with young children or a senior as there is no elevator. Very nice updated unit overlooking the lake on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. We enjoyed visiting the smaller beach in the Mission Point section and getting drinks from the indoor bar in the restaurant right next to the beach. We liked exploring all of the different sections and could...
