「Quiet, restful sleep. Amenities include a gas station nearby. There is a donut shop in the nearby town. Hotel is directly off the freeway--easy access.」

「The property is a busted down former decent travel hotel that has a pool in the back that’s filled in with dirt when I arrive. The elevator was not working and they told me the only room they had was on the third floor and it’s a walk up the lights were not working in any of the stairs to get up to the third floor, but I was exhausted having traveled all day so I did it. There was no blow dryer in the room and the room was hot when I got there, the air-conditioning was not on in the entire hotel...

「Bed smell bad, sheets where not clean had to get new sheets and had to change them myself, the front desk was not welcoming at all, property was very dirty, the bathroom was even dirty, the too. Smell humid.」

「The TV would not work, "no signal". There was no phone in the room to call for assistance. The breakfast buffet on Saturday morning was depleted and the waffle maker wasn't working. Most of our group went elsewhere to eat. The help were foreigners and were difficult to understand. We had stayed there before and it was never great, but we will never stay there again !」

「Texas Inn had higher ratings than similar priced hotels which accounted for my decisions. I should have been warned by the fact the dominate image in the advert was not of the hotel but of the courthouse? which was not immediately near by. Sheets were threadbare and had holes, both from wear and from smoking. It didn't feel good using bedding or towels. (I thankfully travel with both sheets and pillows so stripped the bed and used mine.) The walls were visibly dirty. The ick factor is high for...
