「I called ahead because I would be checking in late. I was given Josh’s phone number and reached out to him to set up a check in time, he was very responsive and kind and was there to show me around at almost 11pm. 「Last minute booking while on the road. Good value for the price- clean room and property. Walkable to the Walmart next door, which allowed for refreshing our supplies on our road trip. Beds were very firm. Standard continental breakfast but well stocked and clean dining area.」

「Shanty Creek was a great place to stay. The room was spacious, clean, and private. The restaurant on site had fun specials after 5 pm and there was a shuttle that took you to the bar in town. Pool area seemed well kept, and so did the grounds in general. I'd totally stay here again. 」
