「This is the place to stay if you are going to Matera if you are driving a car; well located a few kilometers from the city . Well, kept like new building very good restaurant excellent breakfast and friendly stuff. Plenty of parking. I highly recommend it.」

「Everything was very clean! The owners thought of everything. The rooms were very comfortable. Parking on site was great. We were offered breakfast for a small fee and it was very good. There are even espresso machines in the rooms! The owners are very lovely. I would definitely stay here again. Easy to drive into town.」

「Before our arrival, we only received Expedia confirmation, which did not include direct contact info with owner. I messaged owner via Expedia app, the day before but no reply. We were supposed to receive check in instructions day(s) before. We arrived extra early to find the apartment and tried calling owner. Luckily, owner understood we were early and at apartment, so sent her husband to greet us. He spoke enough english to explain things and gave us tips on seeing Matera. Thank goodness...

「The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.」

「Lovely property. You need a car if going to old Matera. Grocery store close by. Pretty grounds and great pool (although like most Italian pools, not heated.) we found easy parking lots near the historic area so it is ok. The photos are deceiving because the spa whirlpool tub is not included - you have to pay 100 euro per couple to use those amenities. That should be made clear in the listing or they shouldn't show the photos. " Cave" hotel room is fun but only a window at door and in bathroom....

Al llegar nos dimos cuenta que estaba más lejos de lo que calculamos, pero el staff fue super amable para explicarnos cómo llegar y hacernos saber las diferentes opciones. Al final elegimos movernos en bus y fue muy práctico y rápido. El hotel es bonito, limpio, moderno. La habitación es cómoda y agradable. 」
