「Un petit hotel au calme sur les hauteurs de Guïmar, dans une ancienne ferme. La vue sur l'ocean et l'ile de la Grande Canarie au loin etait juste fantastique. Un seul bemol, les rues sont etroites, il est mieux d'avoir un petit vehicule. Les proprietaires cubains font aussi restaurant. We lived here for 2nights, Since our reservations were separated, they asked us to change the room at 12pm on the second day and the housekeeper can help us to put our luggage to the new room. Although it took us too much inconvienence, on the second day 12pm nobody came to my room to helped us. So I don't want to back to this Ritz Carlton hotel again. Awful experience.」

「For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony 」
