A quiet hotel with a nice onsen on the balcony overlooking the river. Simple alkaline waters, not too hot, elaborate dinners and breakfast with nice sea and river fish dishes, good wifi. Comfortable rooms in a modern building.
Great onsen hotel in a peaceful location. Restaurant was nice. The front desk clerk, Imai, was very helpful in helping me in reserving a ferry for later in my trip as my Nihongo was limited.
Really nice accommodation with friendly staff, with a beautiful river in front. The location is remote, but close to local attractions that we were visiting. The family tatami room was spacious, and the meals were traditional and delicious. The little gift store had some snacks for hungry kids. The outdoor onsen was lovely.
We thought the staff were so accommodating. Nothing was a problem. We asked to cancel our Japanese breakfast and they applied the cost as a credit toward our dinner meal, which was excellent. Provided an extra pillow and always had fresh towels for the onsen. They also helped with directions to various places we visited. Beautiful view of the river from where you sit in the onsen. Arigatogozaimasu!
A wonderful stay at this well manicured Onsen. A exceptional staff took very good care of us. In particular, Mr. Hayami went far beyond his normal driving duties, and voluntarily became our tour guide on several shuttle bus trips - what a pleasant gentlemen!
Breakfast was our favorite meal of the day, with traditional servings, and again, a polite and friendly staff.
My wife and I highly recommend this quiet refuge.

Clean, calm, relaxing. A very peaceful environment in a beautiful natural setting. In a middle of a stunning scenery of forest, mountains and river. Extraordinary dinner. Would love to go again!
