「Süßes etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, wir waren für einen kurzen Urlaub hier. Dafür war die Unterkunft vollkommen okay. Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gefallen und das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend 」

「We stayed one night at this hotel and it was a very disappointing experience, especially for the price of €110 per night. The room was dirty, old, badly isolated, and honestly gave us the feeling of being in a jail cell. There was no TV, the furniture and interior were outdated, and everything smelled old and unpleasant. The breakfast was even worse — the bread was so hard it was difficult to bite, and none of the products seemed fresh. I was alone with my two children, otherwise I would have...

「The staff was great but the room was horrible. It had been regularly and recently smoked in and the whole room was so stinky it made us sick in the first few minutes. This is a deal for truckers and some labor workers but not for tourists. 」

「Talbot House is an experience. The common areas (living room, dining room) invite exploration, The English garden is quite beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. The bedrooms are attractive and comfortable, each equipped with a sink. There is one bathroom per floor and it is shared by all staying on that floor.」

「We arrived rather late (after 9.00pm), was a bit tricky to find in the dark, but we managed it! Greeted by Hilde - lovely lady. Took us to our rooms, which were lovely & comfortable & clean. Allowed full use of the lounge & kitchen. There were 3 of us (adults). Very spacious. Shower lovely. Breakfast choice amazing. We stayed here having visited Bruges. Would definitely return & recommend. 」
