This is a beautiful hotel. The staff were lovely. The view is incredible and even the noisy neighbours (the sheep) are friendly. Free breakfast which is a great selection too

L exterieu est magnifique mais les chambres sont décevantes Pour ma part deux lits simples rapprochés avec deux matelas de hauteur différentes et de longeure différentes avec un sur matelas dépassant de 10cm de chaque côté Pour ce qui est de la salle de bain absolument aucune étagère et pas de par douche dans la baignoire de ce fait la salle de bain est inondée après une douche Ne cherchez pas non plus la spa il'n y en a plus depuis deux ans et la demeure se situe au milieu de champs et donc a 6 heure vous avez un va et viens de tracteurs qui passent sous vos fenêtres ( côté rue) Je n arrive pas a ajouter de photos de la literie ce qui est bien dommage

Tired Hotel/Great Breakfast

I wanted a hotel with free parking on the way to Calais after touring Flanders. The room was a little tired and the bathroom had seen better days. Beer on the terrace was good and breakfast the next morning was excellent. I forgot to phone ahead at I was arriving after 7pm, but the owner phoned to check that we were on our way. Good choice of TV channels including BBC!

Love it

Stay was nice although shorter than planned.. Hotel is lovely (looks like a castle) and each room looks like it's different. Breakfast was great, and couple who run the hotel were lovely and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back. Hotel is a good location.

Sehr netter Empfang, sehr gutes Frühstück. Sehr gute Deutschsprachkenntnisse als Belgier! Ungewöhnlich war das sehr warme Zimmer obwohl die Heizung aus war. Nachher stellten wir fest, dass scheinbar durch die Innenwände geheizt wurde.

Mooi hotel

Alles viel goed mee, alleen waren wij ontgoocheld over het feit dat er buiten het gratis goede ontbijt geen eten of drank te verkrijgen was in het hotel. Blijkbaar was aangegeven dat restaurant op maandag en dinsdag gesloten was, maar dit viel niet op bij de vooraf doorgenomen informatie. Ook was niet onmiddellijk op te maken of bijvoorbeeld het gebruik van "spa" inbegrepen was in de prijs.

Nice family run hotel.

Excellent stay with my girlfriend and daughter. Hotel had a genuine family run feel. Lovely owners and staff who accommodated its on our late arrival. Thanks very much for a brilliant stay.

Hotel propre,au calme

Accueil sympathique , propreté de la chambre, thé café eau à disposition , petit déjeuner copieux et très bon, le pain est très bon , la confiture maison, nous avons diner un soir et nous nous sommes régalés, nous recommandons cet hotel en plein coeur de la campagne flamande, au calme à 15 mn de la côte .

Nice hotel like a home in the country side.

Hidden jem!

After driving from Ieper, we arrived at 10.45PM and were met with a broad smile of the owner and an offer of a drink. Both rooms were generous in space, comforters, view and several bottles of bottled water (great for taking meds!). Our party of 5 (1-teen,1-mid twenty, 3-upper fifty woman) had a great night sleep. Breakfast had an abundance of choices including an egg! I like my egg in the morning!

Short weekend visit

The hotel is attractive and reminds one of a castle. The grounds are pleasing. I appreciated that this hotel has an elevator. Also they serve dinner and a nice breakfast comes with the room Restaurants in this area were hard to find so it helped that we could order dinner from a full menu at our hotel. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I would want with a nice territorial view from the window. The bed was less than satisfactory and as it was just a mattress with no box spring I am glad to have only spent one night. All things considered it was a good value for the one night.

Petit déjeuner délicieux et très copieux. Chambre spacieuse et lumineuse avec une très bonne literie. Accueil très sympathique. Endroit très calme. Parking aisé. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!
