We’d be happy to stay here again

We enjoyed our stay here - in a good-sized room. This was a convenient place for trips around Kochi - within walking distance of Kochi Castle, and with a tram stop right outside (just 6 stops with a change in the middle to get to Kochi JR station)

Facility is above standard, clean, well equipped, enough space and comfortable room, staffs are well trained and kind. But breakfast space and foods are below American or European standard, shoddy foods, except egg cooked by order, strange breads, poor fruits and salad and drinks. Worst of all is huge dining room, like athletic hall.

Room for improvement in cleaning and maintenance

Polite and amicable staff, always try to help (but not quite helpful). For instance, in a morning, I reported to the reception that the duvet at the left hand side bed was dirty. When I returned to the room in the evening, I was surprised noting that instead of replacing the dirty duvet, they just swapped it to the right hand side bed! As a whole, the furnishings in the room are dated and filthy, they need a serious attention.

Although this hotel may not be the newest one on the block, the facility and cleanliness were excellent. But what I was impressed with was the staff members' professionalism and helpfulness. They went above and beyond to help me whenever I had questions. The hotel also comes with an excellent restaurant. Their lunch and desserts are great. If I come back to Kochi, I will stay here again. Thank you very much for making my business trip comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel is trying its best with the severely outdated property. Staff is friendly but the whole hotel just needs a top to bottom refresh. They’re trying to cater to weddings, but the place does not have the romantic or elegant vibe at all.
