The property was clean, comfortable, and well-lit. The room was very large and accommodating, quite comfortable and more than adequate for our needs.

I would never return or recommend the Northeaster to anyone. The bed was so bad I had to buy a heating pad for my back! Water pressure was so low I had to have my wife rinse me off. I asked if I could get a reduction in my cost his answer was to turn around and close the door on me ! Only 1 dim light In the room. I’m very disappointed, $50.00 a night would seem appropriate!!!

cute cabin
We rented a room and ended up in a beautiful little cabin it was clean and comfortable~ except under the kitchen cabinets where they were obviously proactively trying to remove mice. This was probably not the same issue in the hotel rooms ~ as I know mice can be a struggle in cabins. I would rent this same cabin again though and not go into the lower cabinets, the rest of the room was very clean.

Avoid. No coffee machine or provision in the lobby; no hairdryer; broken sink; damp smelling, one light with one lightbulb, very few sockets, very poor Internet. I’m afraid there is nothing I can say that would redeem this place.

Good Choice for Location and Price
Good budget room and excellent location. The fridge had a functioning freezer that came in handy. The bathroom was in very good condition as were the towels. The bed had two fluffy pillows and one thin one, the kind I like. Sue’s Seafood is an easy ten minute walk has has fabulous lobster or crab rolls!

The location is convenient to eateries, fueling and Kittery Outlet Mall-all within short driving distance. Northeaster's owners are gracious and welcoming, Housekeeping staff did a great job in keeping everything clean and neat. The only drawback is poor Internet connection. This is essential for folks like me, though others may prefer the sense of isolation.

Property was nice overall. Staff was a bit odd, guy yelled at me because he swiped my card twice and I didn’t want him to do it a third time. Finally the owner lady came out and told him to F off. The room was quiet but was very dirty with stained sheets and only half roll of TP. I give it a 3 star rating but I wouldn’t return simply because I prefer a bit cleaner room and staff that doesn’t question my payment methods.

Location near Portsmouth!
The lady at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and in good condition and the location very quiet. The room respecte the quality vs price.

Dont stay here!!!
I checked in and was told at the desk that I did not get the room that I reserved. Then was asked if I still wanted it with an attitude. However we still charged the same price. I brought my godson to York beach for the very first time and this is how we Kicked off our yearly godmother godson get away. Room was dirty, no garbage bags, had to wait hrs for towels even though i needed no maid service. I was left folgers instant coffee with old filters and an auto drio machine. They lady in charge was NO help at all, that goodness for the older gentleman. He tried and was 1000% honest with me. This is THEIR actual home and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Would NOT recommend!!

Owners were pleasant. However, a guy that works there, assumed he can look in windows, while walking by,( several times). Very uncomfortable feeling. The carpets were dirty, grungy feeling, but he shower stall was very dirty. Room hasn’t been dusted in a while. Lock on door was broken. Door didn’t close right. Bottle of old cigarettes outside my door. If they hired a good housekeeper, the place would be nice

Basically, the area is non-descript. A few restaurants and hotels, but no points of interest nearby. Seemed safe and quiet.

So convenient for Portsmouth!
Very friendly motel staff, long time Mom and Pop owners. NOT your usual boring chain motel. I was a little cold and a king sized blanket fixed my problem.
