「Wonderful customer service. I phoned to say that I would be late for final check in (10pm) and Alexandra, the lovely lady on the front desk, made sure I was checked in dignity and made me feel so safe about arriving late. This was my second time visiting The Swan for work trips to Blyton Park track. Couldn’t recommend this B&B enough. Perfect for solo female travellers.」

「Clean room. The entrance door needs oil. My room was close, and it was a bit of a nuisance squeaking until everyone went to sleep.」

「Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again」

「All the staff are all really friendly and helpful, they responded my email quickly before my stay. I was supposed to get a mail delivered at the hotel and they tried their best to keep looking for my mail. It was really helpful for them to do so. The hotel room is clean and spacious. The location of the hotel is good, supermarket is just next to it and town centre is within walking distance. I would recommend this hotel to all.」

「It was a dry roof over our heads and warm bed. Bed, towels and bedding were a bit aged. Room was quite small and the bed was not the most comfortable. Shower pressure was quite low. But you get what you pay for and it served its purpose for the night. Plenty of space to park car. 」

「This hotel exceeded my expectations. When you entered, the first thing that greets you is the fresh smell. Everything was so clean. Greeted by a staff member who spoke like he was in the ritz hotel. Old fashioned customer service. Wonderful! Room was clean, even the toiletries in the bathroom were good quality. Restaurants nearby. So pleased that we found this gem! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.」

「This place is a little gem. A great deal of thought has gone into the rooms, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff who clearly want the guests to have an enjoyable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.」

「It was a lovely room and the staff were great. My only criticism I have is I paid for a room with view of the park-i didn't feel this was fulfilled. I could see one enclosure but otherwise it was of the outdoor seating area, the park entrance and all the work that was been done. I would have also thought that when checking in I would be asked if I wanted to visit the park as there was no option when booking to add a park visit. The food was great, the staff were super friendly.」
