Great getaway for a relaxing stay high up in the mountains. Great cottages, well appointed with antiques and all necessary amenities. Amazing views of Kingston and the Blue Mountains. Excellent restaurant and bar. Welcoming and professional staff. It is not a difficult drive, but do not follow Waze - which takes you off the B1 and guides you through a shortcut that is clearly not meant for regular driving and rather dangerous.

The road to get to strawberry hill is horrible. The property was well maintained, no TV in room. I think the continental breakfast that came with room should have been more. Eggs or porridge for the breakfast I thought was not enough for the cost of the rooms.

Pristine is the word I’ll use to describe the grounds of Strawberry Hills. Felt like I was close to heaven🙂 because we were so far in the mountains of Irish Town, St Andrew. The rooms were immaculately maintained and the decor complimented the architectural period of the cottages. We woke up early to witness a magnificent sunrise then enjoy a fresh delicious breakfast. From Demario who greeted us upon our arrival to Kevin who assisted us with our luggage to Jassett who exemplified customer service greatness while caring for our breakfast needs. I didn’t want to leave but life… I hope to return but if life doesn’t allow me the opportunity to, I can say Strawberry Hill has filled spaces in my heart lost to the bustle of life.

I have nothing but good things to say about this place— first, my room was spotless. Second, the staff was amazing Miss Jasett, Miss Bernice, Miss Marva… and I am sure I am missing a few but they treated me like family. The staff that helped with my bags, came to turn down my bed or simply gave me extra water… loved them all! The driver that took me to the airport - Lancelot, he is so funny- we had the best ride down the mountain. And of course, the views… who doesn’t know about the views?! Stunning! But the staff are the hidden gems. I will be back.

Wonderful location, clean, with a very comfortable bed. Older property with only somewhat noisy standing fans to cool - would benefit from quiet ceiling fans. Apparently continental breakfast is complimentary in the rooms, but we weren’t offered this and there were no details about in room dining offered. There were no easy options to get extra water or snacks etc and only one small bottle of water per person per day. You can order extra from the bar, but that seemed to be an unexpected request. There is no options in the immediate area, so I’d bring snacks and soft drinks/water with you from the airport or in your luggage. Restaurant food was lovely and the view is breathtaking! We would definitely go again, just with a little preparation.
