「I really loved my stay at this lodge. The rooms were nice enough but not fancy but the location was great. We did see a bear from the lodge which the rangers drove off. It had a great view next to the river. 」

「Extremely convenient - probably best location for hikers. Chevron store (also the hotel check in desk) has all the gear and food you need. They even have some exotic options. Location is not very quiet but safe, AC works. 40 mins away from all the major trails」

「This was my third time staying at this hotel and once again, I was really happy with everything. It's affordable, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and they have a great little pool for those very hot summer days. The family who runs the hotel are lovely too. I couldn't ask for more in a budget-friendly hotel. If you're exploring the gorgeous south end of the Eastern Sierras, this is a great option.」

「Geeta was a wonderful host. She was kind and cared about our comfort. We took our dog and there are places to walk in the back of the property where it is safe and off the highway. The room was clean and had adequate space. There were lots of special touches, including the welcome basket. We will definitely come back again. Thank you, Geeta」

「Lovely place with an excellent restaurant that stays open till 10 pm which gave us time to complete our hikes without stress. Friendly staff. Met friendly guests all going to Sequoia. A very good place to stop for rest and food. 」

「We really enjoyed our stay at the Rock Cabin! Falling asleep to the sound of water and crickets was really wonderful. The restaurant was amazing! We especially loved having pie each morning with our coffee. Speaking of coffee, we loved walking into the cabin and seeing complementary local coffee, waiting for us. I also want to leave a little note that the road up to the cabin was pretty intense and a little scary at parts…But if you take your time, it’ll be worth the drive! 」
