The River Inn was exactly what we were looking for! Well situated with a three-minute drive to the Park entrance, It was clean, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and the check in with Jay was easy and he was lovely and helpful. There is a deli next door called Totem with food and all the amenities you need for the day. No complaints. It was a wonderful overnight trip.

The room was mostly clean with super clean beds and towels. Just desperately needed vacuuming. Peacefully and relaxing place great for long stays and enjoy the National Parks and beauty.
Good thing we bring our own hair dryer, because this one had been broken.
The room just needed vacuuming, between guests. Clear sequins on the floor and in the doorway.
A set of unused chop sticks along side the base board. Not ours.

The Staff Person was very helpful and gave helpful suggestions to make our stay enjoyable. To help your guests, have enough towels and coffee for all assigned to room. Have Maintenance Staff pull beds out to clean under head of bed and the a/c unit. Overall, we would stay here again. Thank you for adding to our traveling experience.

This is in a very convenient location just 3 miles from SNP with nearby dining. The entire place is rather old and dated, water heat and pressure were poor, but since we were just sleeping there at night, it was perfect for our needs. The refrigerator in our room leaked on the floor during the night and wasn’t cooling very well. I loved the little table and chairs outside each room where I could sit and watch the traffic and hear the river.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage. Its was really nice. With a large living room with fireplace, piano, dining area, large kitchen and 2 bedrooms. They have bbq and firepit outside. This hotel was great for the price we paid and its closest to the Sequoia park entrance. Right next door is a nice cafe/ restaurant and market with everything you need and also a gift shop.

Avoid like the plague. I could go on and on, but let's just say they put a piece of cardboard on the floor. To what purpose? I did not dare lift it up to find out. Bed covers were torn, AC smelled. On the plus side, parking was convenient (no one else was there) and Wifi was fast (contrary to other reviews I've read). After inspecting the room, we left to go somewhere else. We took the loss of a night's room charge, but there was no way I was going to let my family stay there.

Only a half mile to the entrance of Sequoia Natl Park. Very reasonable rate ($62 total for late March). Large room. Good bed, new sheets. Bath towels quite worn. All the basic amenities: fridge, TV with streaming networks, AC, hair dryer, etc.
