「We had a lovely stay at the Piersland house to attend a wedding at a nearby hotel. The breakfast was very delicious with a good selection of local produce. The hotel is in a great location for amenities in Troon.」

「We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

「Horizon has excellent location close to beach. It is dog friendly which I love as have small dog. Food is fine and good breakfast. Prices are reasonable. Horizon one main issue is rooms and some furnishings in lounge area are now needing replaced. Rooms badly need refurbished. It is a wee gem and I wish they would attend to these issues as if so I would make onging visits to it.」

「Room was spotless, great shower. Bed was really comfortable. The food from the restaurant was excellent and service was great. 4 EV chargers which allowed us to charge up before going home. Only couple of issues, I filled in online the “pre checkin” form to save time (hotels words not mine). But when I got to reception I had to complete it again. Iron in the room was all sticky too. Small issues, hotel was great」

「Love the Hotel. I m 80 now. I was always there with my parents. As a wee boy it's got a great feeling to it. Only thing I was dissatisfied with. Was fried breakie. It went cold quick too. It cost me. 30£ for two my wife ate very little of it.」
