「Breakfast was good quality. My room was up three sets of stairs in the attic. While of a good size, it wouldn't be easy carrying a suitcase to the room.」

「Good experience of staying」

「We just spent the night there, coming back from a wedding celebration. So didn’t really check the place out much. But I’d definitely recommend the full English veggie b’fast & fresh coffee: very tasty! 🙂」

「Great value for money, clean facilities and friendly staff. Had a good nights sleep.」

「We stayed here one night as my niece was getting married and having her wedding venue just down the road in the village Hall. The room was lovely, very clean and every thing you would need, to a very high standard. We didn’t eat there so I can’t comment on that.」

「Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well. The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up. There is no parking at the accommodation but lots of parking in the town centre - it’s only a few minutes walk and I would recommend parking first and then walking to the property as...

「Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.」

「We had a lovely stay at The Great Decoy. The weather was horrible unfortunately, but the pub was very cosy and welcoming with lovely open fires. Lovely food, great decor, lovely attention to detail including the gorgeous smelling toiletries provided. The bed was very comfy with lovely bedding. We will definitely return and also try out other pubs in the Chickpea Group.」

「I loved our one night here. It was a stop off on the way further south but I wish we could have stayed longer. So peaceful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay happen, even when we arrived late. We ate our breakfast outside in the courtyard which was idyllic. The food was gorgeous. We shopped in the farm shop afterwards and bought more than we needed as it all looked (and was) so good. A really lovely stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. Really ovely room. ...

「Lovely place to stay out in the country」

「Blood stained on the bed sheets! When I requested to change the bed sheets, the staff told me that its their policy to change every 3 days!!」

「We would not have booked here if we had known the Saturday breakfast was 9am to 10am. There is no information about breakfast times on the booking process. The TV was totally unusable as I do not have a modern PhD. I simply could not understand all this internet stuff. The Wifi speed was slow, less than 1mbps. Besides that, clean comfortable room, excellent real beer in the bar.」

「Friendly and welcoming staff, thoughtful touches and a lovely location with great walks and lots to explore」

「Great hotel, good service particularly the brasserie restaurant. We enjoyed the spa treatments. A bit noisy on the Saturday night.」
