"We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...

"Completely detached barn. Very warm despite the weather being awful. Easy to find. Lovely layout. Had everything we needed and location was excellent , between Oakhampton and Tavistock. Very powerful shower and comfy couches and bed. Great size private garden but pity we couldnt sit out much but still very enjoyable"

"Owl Barn was just beautiful - we loved the fact that the sheep wandered past the garden fence and the horses came close to be petted ! "Stunning location by the river. Remote and peaceful. Don't take a big car!!! Its a narrow track to the cottage!!! Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside decking area. Comfortable lounge. Very helpful neighbours and hosts. Our only complaint was the very noisy boiler which woke the whole house up every morning !"
