It is a lovely well appointed country hotel with large beautiful gardens. The kindly staff are very welcoming. The WiFi in the room was very poor but fine in the main house.

Lovely and relaxing Great place for us only 6/7min. From our daughter as we came to visit We would of loved if was air-conditioning in rooms, but as we had fans in your room was very helpful in the hottest day/nights. When fans are quiet, we did have one loud fan on one occasion we stayed But overall great place brilliant breakfast & food , staff very perlite, welcoming and helpful ,views fabulous we would definitely stay again Thank you horn of plenty Mr & Mrs Matthews

Great hotel and well worth the money. Amazing food. This wasn't quite the same value for money as our room. The portions were small and hardly any vegetables. We had a small double room. It didn't feel small. The bed was huge and we also had a balcony. I would recommend this hotel.

It was a hot weekend & the room was extremely hot. A very small, ineffective fan was in the room but it made little difference. The room in the coach house was small & looked dated but it was clean. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

We had a great stay at the Horn of Plenty! It’s a beautiful country house hotel set in rural country side with spectacular views of the Tamar Valley from every room. The dining room was lovely - very open plan and with floor to ceiling glass sliding doors . The dinner menu was very adventurous and although it wasn’t the kind of food you would choose to eat every night, was quite a gastronomic experience. The closest we have been to Michelin starred food… ! Breakfast was a treat too with an extensive and delicious menu. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom and good amenities. We will definitely be back!

Nice country hotel with a reasonable restaurant for dinner and very nice breakfast Restaurant overlooks well kept gardens and it would have been lovely to eat alfresco on the terrace had the May weather been kinder. Comfortable room with good tea/coffee making facilities….. fresh milk in the refrigerator every day which was a nice touch. Comfortable shared sitting room in the main house. We stayed 3 nights this quiet hotel mid-May and had an enjoyable stay. Parking was easy. We ate one night at The Cornish Arms in Tavistock ( 10 min drive) which can be recommended.
