「De accomodatie is gelegen vlak bij het oude centrum van Rethymnon en de haven. Wij hadden een zeer goede kamer (zijdelings zeezicht). Er is een groot strand met parasols en drankbedeling tegenover het hotel. Service en eten zijn zeer goed. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Enige nadeel is de transfer in gedeelde shuttle (lees tourbus) van Danaos Travel. Als je boekt, zie je een taxi voor 7 personen, maar in werkelijkheid is dit steeds een tourbus voor 50 pers. die zo dikwijls stopt dat je over de...

「We had a delightful stay. Location was perfect, on a quiet side street close to the main pedestrian shopping street. Staff were great. Room clean and spacious. Check in and check out were efficient. It’s a boutique hotel and we stayed in their adjoining unit, which was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was good and Charlotte made eggs from scratch. The only downside is it didn’t start until 8:30. We are early risers but we adjusted. I definitely recommend this hotel. 」

「Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. 」

Verschmutzung durch Müll. Sowohl von Touristen als auch von Einheimischen. Die (an sich tollen) Zimmer wurden leider nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Als ein Kugelschreiber zu Boden fiel, entdeckten wir eine ordentliche Staubschicht unter dem Sofa. 」
