Good experience alltogether. Snackbar food, icecream and drinks were really good. Both lunch and dinner food was also good and often different sorts of meat or fish available. Hotel is located near the main road with decent shops, but not too much traffic I would say. Also easy parking at backstreet was a plus.

Bonjour, nous sommes arrivés très tard dans la nuit, l'accueil était de très bonne qualité, nous avons même eu le plaisir d'avoir un repas chaud qui nous attendait dans le restaurant, merci pour cette super attention. Toutes les personnes travaillant dans cet hôtel sont super sympa et souriant et à l'écoute des clients. Que dire du personnel, pour le service restaurant Eva et Eleni💪 qui ont été bienveillantes dynamique,souriantes, avec toujours de bonne humeur bravo à Elles, ne changer pas. Merci également à la gentillesse et au jolie sourire d' Irini 🍹qui s'occupe du bar de la piscine. Les personnes de la maintenance au top et aux petits soins des clients. Le manager est très professionnel, il est souvent entrain de faire le tour des lieux afin de voir si tout va bien. Cet hôtel a été rénové cette année, les chambres sont bien propres et spacieuses. Les infrastructures sont dignes d'un 4 * La situation géographique de cet hôtel permet de sortir et d'aller à la mer🌊rapidement et à proximité de tout commerces. Notre séjour c'est très bien passé, nous remercions toutes les personnes de l'hôtel. 👏👍

An Excellent Family Stay – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at the resort as a family of five, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. The resort was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and family-friendly. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and everything we tried being fresh and delicious. A special mention has to go to the pool bar, which was amazing! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink while the kids were having fun. The children were also incredibly well catered for. The kids’ pool and kids’ club were fantastic, giving the children plenty to enjoy while also allowing us parents some time to relax and unwind. Overall, everything about our stay was great — from the cleanliness and food to the facilities and, most importantly, the wonderful staff. It really felt like a resort where families are genuinely looked after. We had an amazing holiday and would happily return. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable stay! ❤️

Super war der Balkon...mit sogar bisschen Meerblick und man konnte rauchen...Aschenbecher steht auf dem Tisch. Sehr nettes Personal in allen Bereichen. Sauberes Hotel und vielfältige Essen Auswahl...jedoch manche Fleischgerichte sehr knurbelig und fettig. Das Essen hätte insgesamt ein intensiveres Würzen vertragen können. Als ziemlich störend empfand ich das Kinder geblärre und das herumspringen während den Essenszeiten...liegt aber oft an der Erziehung...das hätte es früher nicht gegeben. Gut, Adult only war leider auf Kreta alles ausgebucht. Ich hätte mir täglich eine Flasche Gratis Wasser für meine Tabletten Einnahme im Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer gewünscht. Für den teuren Preis sicherlich nicht zu viel verlangt. Die Anlage insgesamt sehr gepflegt und gut durch organisiert. Die Pools...obwohl mehrere vorhanden waren alle zu klein. Man konnte überhaupt nicht schwimmen...da alle Pools voll mit Kinder und dessen Schwimmreifen waren etc. Ich konnte auch ständig sehen, wie Kleinkinder ins Wasser pinkelten...war sehr unangenehm...gut nicht jeder verträgt diese an für sich normale und menschliche Gegebenheiten... Ansonsten sehr schöner Urlaub und ich würde denke ich dieses Hotel auch wieder buchen und somit auch weiterempfehlen.

Nice and clean!!

Overall amazing experience. Very clean, food was varied and tasty. Only downside is the beach was close, but there is no sunbeds for free. You need to pay to rent the sunbeds, as they are owned by another hotel. Service in the hotel was very good and prompt, they were very helpful throughout our stay. Definetely worth it if you just want a couple days of relax and enjoying inside.

Family vacation at Zeus Ydoria Resort

We were very happy with our stay at Zeus Ydoria Resort! The location was great—just outside Rethymno and only a two-minute walk to the long, beautiful beach. The hotel’s reception and dining areas were newly renovated, giving a luxurious feel. Some older sections could use a refresh but were always clean and didn’t bother us. Our room was spacious with a nice balcony and partial sea view. The pool areas were excellent, with several pools, fun waterslides for kids, and attentive lifeguards at the main pools. The pool bar offered plenty of seating and a great variety of food and drinks—pizza, burgers, salads, fries, beer, wine, cocktails, sodas, coffee, and kids’ drinks—all day long. The resort’s biggest highlights were the food and staff. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were fantastic—fresh, tasty, and varied, with lots of salads, fruit, and desserts. The staff were truly amazing: cleaners, waiters, bartenders, and receptionists were all friendly, hardworking, and welcoming from morning to night. A special thanks to the animation team—Rico, Tekla, and Angela—who kept our kids entertained with fun activities in the Kids Club and organized games and events for everyone: water gymnastics, boule, table tennis, quizzes, bingo, and dancing in the evenings. We can’t recommend Ydoria Resort enough and hope to return soon!
