"Even the shops and restaurants that AREN'T nearby SEEM nearby because the streetcar stops eery 10 minutes outside the front door of the hotel. This gives visitors easy access to almost everything one might want to do...Country Club Plaza and River Market shopping and restaurants, WW1 Museum, Union Station, The Arabia Steamboat Museum, the Nelson Atkins art museum (and others) and lots of restaurants."

"We checked in and went up to our room and noticed room was warm. We turned the AC down in the room and went to bed. We got warm through the night and I’d end up opening a window. My Husband went down with the front desk following morning and they ended up telling him that the AC was out. That was not told to us upon check-in. They told us we could open up a window and that would cool the room off. Remind you, we are in downtown Kansas City, where there are sirens, loud noises, etc. The first day our room was not cleaned and of course we came back and requested housekeeping. It took three days to get our room cleaned. All of this to say the communication amongst the hotel staff was extremely poor."

"Really helpful staff and clean room. Wish they had free breakfast as it was a little pricey to purchase. Pool closed 2 days our sty for cleaning, but they offered my kids snacks for the hasstle. "

"No maid service for 4 days. Why? Not my idea of a clean hotel room. Biggest hair on bathroom floor, stuff in shower. "

"Toilet was not flushed when we first entered room so bathroom had a foul smell for the first hour or so. Breakfast was delicious, the rest of the room was nice and clean. Staff seemed inconvenienced when we asked for hand soap and other questions. "

"Room was nice, beds comfortable. They were replacing the carpet on 2 floors so many rooms not filled. The casino was dead, no one was in any of the restaurants, not sure they were even open. One of the sports bars had a few people. It was kind of eery. I the price was right, so it didn't bother us."

"Super clean, comfortable, convenient, and quiet. The blackout curtains closed without any light leaking in. Refrigerator had a clean, functioning freezer compartment. Restaurants and gas stations nearby. Shuttle to airport was quick, and the driver was kind and thoughtful. Fitness room has multiple treadmills and other equipment, a large double rack of weights, exercise mats, and cleaning wipes. Long-term parking at the hotel for our trip was much less expensive than airport parking. Helpful, competent staff. Overall great experience!"
