「While older, this property was a short walk into downtown Mackinaw City. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great.」

「We really enjoyed our week-long stay in this charming motel. The owner is very responsive to needs and the room was great. Nicely decorated, very convenient, lots of parking, near to many attractions in the area. The bed was comfortable, the room is air conditioned and very nice.」

「The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. The only negative: our room was on the top floor above I75. It was VERY noisy when certain vehicles would drive by on the highway. I wish I...

「The patio overlooked the Cheybogan River. with was peaceful and relaxing. Not your cookie-cutter view or atmosphere. It was what to expect on a northern Michigan trip and what we wanted.」

「The property was clean, well maintained, staff were helpful and professional, close to highway, lots of places to eat nearby. 」

「We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up.」

「The hotel was very good. It leans more toward excellent than good with its Lake Huron views, amenities, and helpful staff. The water park was cool but some elements were closed or removed, big slides and lily pads. So not as fun for the older kids, but We made the best of it. The arcade did not have a working quarter dispenser so we could not play the games. That being said, the staff was AMAZING, especially Elisa. Very kind and helpful. They made all the difference in our stay!」
