「Not what pictures portray. Living in Michigan my entire life I think all of mackinaw city has depleted in cleanliness and price gauging. We booked a “superior room” which means nothing like the photos. We were told it’s just a standard queen with a water view balcony. 「I booked a room at Bridge View and once we got there we seen a paper taped to the “lobby” door that we had to go next to the hotel called Sunset. That wasn’t in the booking information! My family woke up early and drove for 4 1/2 hours to get to St. Ignace along with exploring the island all day. So to my surprise once we go to our room there were cobwebs all over the walls, in the bathroom, and covering the screen door with an unbelievable amount of dead bugs and spiders galore in the webs!...

「The room we stayed in was clean, just basic. We stayed at the budget inn and they make it very clear through the booking and on the lobby door of the budget inn that you checkin/out at the Thunderbird Inn next door. The rooms were basic and felt equal to the affordable price we paid. The pools were not open but it was a cold memorial day weekend trip. I got to bring my dog for only $25 for the whole 4 nights.
