「Very clean」

「Cute log cabin theme and decor. Has free breakfast, an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and staff is very helpful and polite. Workout room is a treadmill, eliptical, and workout bike but is better than nothing. Also has a washer and dryer for guest use. Our room was clean and beds were comfy. We stayed here for 4th of July weekend and will keep this in mind for the future. 」

「Room was very spacious and clean. We were on the 2nd floor which wasn’t awful even with a baby and 2 year old. Everything was very walkable. We never moved our car after getting there. We absolutely loved staying here and would definitely come back when visiting Mackinac Island again!!!」

「The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. 「The hotel was very good. It leans more toward excellent than good with its Lake Huron views, amenities, and helpful staff. The water park was cool but some elements were closed or removed, big slides and lily pads. So not as fun for the older kids, but We made the best of it. The arcade did not have a working quarter dispenser so we could not play the games. That being said, the staff was AMAZING, especially Elisa. Very kind and helpful. They made all the difference in our stay!」

「We stayed three days and it was a fine hotel for the price. We could have stayed down the road at the $362 per night place, but that was out of the question, budget-wise. This place was responsive to requests and even allowed us to switch to a more accessible room. Parking was good, the rooms were OK - considering the age of the building. Maintenance is an issue there, but again, considering the age of the building, they are trying to keep up.」
