「I will say, the only reason I am not giving this a better rating is because nowhere on the website or when we made the reservation were we told that the hotel was undergoing extensive renovations, and the key amenities we were looking for (namely the swimming pool for our kids, and the hot fresh breakfasts) were not going to be available. I don't care how friendly the staff is, or how nice the rooms, when this level of restriction is not publicized prior to booking, it is an extremely poor look...

「Tv sound was off, couldn’t hear it. Very tinny sounding and HBO had no sound. Orange juice was mostly water and I barely had enough batter to make a waffle so someone probably didn’t get one. The personal were nice though」

「We stayed at this hotel for five nights and unfortunately had several issues that were never resolved during our stay. The biggest problem was the lack of Wi-Fi in our room. We reported it every day by calling, stopping at the front desk, and even filling out a maintenance request form. Each time we were assured that someone would take care of it, but nothing was ever fixed. In today's world, reliable internet access is as essential as electricity and running water, so this was a major...

「This entire place is just amazing. We were staying in the motel part of the property and we weren't expecting much, but the rooms were so clean, renovated, the beds were comfortable and abundant parking. The staff was all so knowledgeable, so kind, and really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and help us. The on site restaurant was awesome too. The location to Mount Rushmore can't be beat! We will definitely come back.」

「Being a Hampton Inn I expected more, overall it was good, the breakfast was standard fare and did the job. Parking was good. The worst thing was we were there for 8 days and had to beg for towels, empty trash. Our bed made only once. I asked the front desk after a couple days for housekeeping to come and do a full clean - vacuum, mop, trash, bed etc. Not done! We paid good money and never been so disappointed. The staff was nice enough but doesn’t excuse the lack of cleaning.」
