「It is a nice convenient hotel. Clean. Tea and coffee facilities were nice to settle down nicely on arrival and when I woke up in the morning. Mini refrigerator was handy to keep my leftover food in the refrigerator to eat in the morning. Comfortable table and internet. I give 4 star only as there was no toilet in the room and I hesitated to leave my room in the middle of the night.」

「Didn’t stay in the end. The owner wanted personal ID upfront via a picture When I questioned why he wanted my personal details and asked about GDPR rules he said if I want to cancel just cancel I tried to but it was too late so I lost my money 」

「It was a cosy cabin with everything we wanted, views of woodland on the other side across the path was the canal, plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from in Marsden.」

「Room was lovely, we didn't arrive in time for dinner unfortunately as the kitchen closed at 9pm on the Saturday. There was only a hand towel in the bathroom rather than any towels to be able to use the shower/ bath. Slightly noisy up the stairs from the pub which is open until 11pm (not a complaint, just for awareness). Breakfast was lovely and great views」

「Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. 」

「Bar is open until midnight, provided the customers are quiet then it’s not a problem, unfortunately a few were a little noisy leaving around 12.30am」

「Dated dirty and drab. Cracked basin and toilet cistern. grubby broken light pulls. Cracked lampshades on bedside lamps.. random unmatched tiles in bathroom and lime scale staining. Flaking paint on windows and failed double glazing on windows. Teenage staff doing their best in spite of the fact that it appeared noonehad paiduch attention to our room for 20 years.」
