"Great location, and is within walking distance to the train station. The room could use some work however. The bathroom door was warped and could not close. The shower sprays out onto the floor. There is a lack of shelf space, and no drawers, so you will live out of your suitcase. Very noisy with the sound of slamming doors and voices from other rooms. The staff were friendly though. "

Location in pleasant, green surroundings - quiet respite from the tourists and bustle of the city, yet within walking distance for all the visitor attractions. I would definitely stay at the Scholar again when I visit Edinburgh."
