「While the property was clean, it looked a little outdated but, to us, all the HIG properties look the same. Other than that our room was very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat in the area and DoorDash was available. Avoid the Golden Corral just down the street from the hotel. It is awful! It’s dirty and expensive with a minimally attentive staff.」

「Our room was clean on the surface but we turned the lights off before we turned the sheets down. When I woke the next morning the sheets had not been changed. they had a large stain where someone had urinated. I was extremely upset. We took a picture and I went to the desk and showed it. They were apologetic and sent someone to change both beds. We come to Charleston, WV several times a year to visit our grandchild. The location of your hotel is great for us but we will probably not stay there...

「Our stay at this Hampton Inn was just an overnight as we were traveling. As always, we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Upgrades were being made at this location as we were there, but other than some areas that needed attending, there was no inconvenience. What really stood out was the welcoming and helpful nature of the staff! They were wonderful and treated us as if we were family. Specifically, because of that, if we're ever in the area...

「As soon as I checked in, I was met by Saffronia who was cheerful and very welcoming. She explained the amenities available and got me right on my way to my room. Very clean, more than I expected and perfect after being on the road all day. Big rooms, clean, and a friendly staff. And the breakfast was excellent.」
