Great communication pre-arrival from staff. Suite room very comfortable and spacious. Grounds well kept and well done. Great location to visit both Grand Tetons & Yellowstone. Relaxing environment.

When we showed up with our four person party we were told that they had overbooked the room that we had booked so they put us into a room with a queen and a twin sofa bed, no discussion or reimbursement. Aside from being given the run around and a room that did less sleeping space than our reserved room, the rooms were nice and the grounds were excellent.

Visually it's everything you would want. But it was hot when we were there and there is no air conditioning nor a refrigerator in your room. The only option is to have the windows open with the shades up. Who wants to lay there with everyone walking by looking at you. There was a box fan but even on low it sounded like a 747. The breakfast room was wonderful with great food and friendly staff in a rustic log cabin design. From my seat I could see the Tetons. We chose this hotel trying to escape the outrageous hotel prices of Jackson. Jackson is now Branson on steroids!

We used Hatchet Resort as our base for accessing Grand Teton NP. Hatchet is approximately 30 mins drive to the NP. The drive afforded us great views of the Tetons as well as opportunities to see black bears, bison and prong horns. The resort has a motel setup away from the road. Parking is outside your front door and the log construction of the rooms helps to keep them cool although there is a lack of natural light. The room we had did not have air conditioning or a fridge however a fan was provided and an excellent ice machine was easily accessible. We used the second bed to store our luggage as storage space was limited. We ate at the restaurant on all three nights of our stay and the food was excellent whilst the servers were accommodating and personable.

Notre chambre donnait sur la station service. Elle était peu équipé : pas de micro ondes, pas de frigo ni de machine à café. Elle était mal insonorisée. La salle de bain était pour 3 chambre. Nous entendions nos voisins discuter dans leur chambre. Le sol du couloir craquait à chaque pas. Le prix exorbitant pour si peu de service. L'offre sur internet était alléchante, et le proposer plus de service. Par contre la salle de bain et la chambre était très propre.

This was an excellent place to stay for National Parks and Dubois- Wind River Mountains access. Rooms are great. Onsite restaurant excellent. Friendly staff.

The GM, Pat is very hospitable. The resort is well kept, and makes you feel like you have entered Mayberry. There are not many of these type of places out there. I would highly recommend a stay there. “5 STAR” for its type of resort.

I have stayed here many times over the years as I've traveled in the parks and always enjoy it. This time seemed a little impersonal. Gentleman who checked me in had no personality and hardly spoke to me at all. Wait staff at restaurant were nice but also did not engage with me at all. I felt almost invisible which is not a nice feeling. Also, wish they had refrigerators in rooms. Will try again next time I travel in that area and hope it's better.
