We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to stay in Jackson Hole! Everything was within walking distance, and we were just able to enjoy strolling the town without worrying about parking. The room was great, the staff were helpful. Just overall perfect!

Lived staying here on my first trip to Jackson! They were able to hold my bags before and after checkin/out. I used the bikes to get around town, but also it was RIGHT there on the main drag. Super comfortable bed. Would def stay here again!

The location was absolutely perfect for all the downtown tourist shopping / drinking / eating - walked to everything! The breakfast “to go bags” were way better than I expected. There was a warm fresh breakfast sandwich and a yogurt and granola bar!

The property was in an excellent location in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and town square. The hotel itself was only average and the floor should have been wet mopped and the parking was limited. We found the staff to not be very friendly but they did answer our questions.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. Before booking, I knew from other reviews that the rooms were on the smaller side and that noise could be an issue, but the location made it worth it. The room was clean and a comfortable size for our stay, and the location truly can’t be beat-10/10. The parking situation was a bit inconvenient, but we had no trouble finding free overnight street parking nearby. The only real downside was the noise. We were woken up around 2 a.m. by a couple arguing, and we could hear their entire conversation—even with the A/C running. If you’re a light sleeper, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, we’d stay here again because the location and service outweighed the negatives. One small suggestion would be to provide complimentary bottled water for guests, as it’s always a nice touch.

The hotel was a great location, close to town square & the staff was friendly & helpful. However, it was really noisy, we could hear the people in the room upstairs stomping around as well as the walkway outside of our room. Parking was also an issue, there were only about 7 spots by the hotel & we were told parking on the street was restricted, some places you could park over night & then had to move our car every 3 hours.

Part of the property was under construction during our stay. Parking on-site was very limited, so we had to park on the street and move the car early in the morning. Unfortunately, our room was located right next to the construction area, and noise started as early as 6 AM.

Rooms are European style, pretty small but clean. Staff did a good job of making up the rooms daily. Breakfast was excellent for a free breakfast. Easy walk to everything in Jackson hole.

The Anvil was a great place to stay. It is located within walking distance to everything in Jackson. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The grab and go breakfast was really good and convenient if you are heading out to the parks. My only concern is there is very limited parking. If you aren’t able to find a space in their lot you have to park on the street. And during the day parking is limited to 3 hours. So if you are taking a tour and leaving your car that can be a problem.

Our experience at Anvil Hotel was pretty mediocre. The property advertises as “parking available” but really just has a few spots that fill up quickly, making parking a pain during high season. There are no elevators so be prepared to walk up stairs with your luggage. Customer service is lacking. We called down several times with no response so when we required something, we had to walk down to the lobby to speak to someone in person. We requested our room be cleaned/serviced halfway through our stay but had to ask several times to have it happen. When we returned to our room that night, we found our door was left open. Thankfully, nothing was taken but it was uncomfortable knowing our stuff was left unprotected for who knows how long. Overall, way too overpriced for the experience.
