「We had a pleasant stay at Rex Hotel Residence and wished we could’ve stayed longer! It’s an old-school hotel where you leave the key at the front desk rather than take it out with you, unless you’re returning after midnight. The hotel offered a a discount for the restaurant next door, which we made use of, and there’s a Carrefour Express right under the restaurant for your convenience. 「I was unsure walking up to the building about how "hotel-like" it would be but the building is so charming and the hotel staff was very responsive via WhatsApp. We enjoyed that there was a contintental breakfast every morning and felt like we were in a hotel but then had some of the experience of being a local when you walked out the door. 」
