Kamer was ruim, schoon, had een vide met bed voor een derde persoon (ook heel ruim), modern ingericht (beetje Ikea stijl) en een keurige badkamer. We mochten gebruik maken van zitjes op de gang en koffie en thee faciliteiten en het ontbijt was uitgebreid met zelfs verse jus d'orange (waar vind je dat nog). Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Helaas misten wij op onze kamer: een koelkastje, een bureau of iets dergelijks om je spullen op te leggen, een kast(je) (er was wel een klein kledingrek) en tissues in de badkamer.

Our first contact with the hotel right before checking in was problematic. While we were lost in our walk toward the hotel pulling our suitcases on the cobblestone area surrounding the hotel, we called the hotel and asked them for help. However the man on the line after hearing us being lost, to our surprise hung up the phone!! We were assisted by passers-by to guide us to the Piazza della vigne. Other than the check-in, our stay was fine. The staff was generally helpful, though not super friendly. The loft-style room was renovated, comfortable and decently appointed, although a mini-fridge would have been helpful.The breakfast served in the rooftop was excellent. Advice to those arriving by taxi. The closest point for drop off and pick-up is Piazza Campetto - literally one minute from the hotel. Had our driver known this we would have avoided a great deal of hassle.

The hotel is clean and quiet as described. The first night the AC was not working properly and our room was quite hot in the middle of summer. The next morning we talked with the staff who were condescending and explained that because the rooms have tall ceilings and because the building is old, the rooms only cool down so much. They did send someone to fix it which made a difference. They use WhatsApp to communicate, so beware if they do not hear back from you, they will make choices for you on your behalf.

Diese Unterkunft ist mitten in Genua auf einem ruhigen Platz gelegen. Dieser bietet auch ein Restaurant, ein Café und eine Bar, sowie das benachbarte Hotel, in dem die Rezeption des Nuvole gelegen ist. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Empore, auf der das Bett war. Unten dann ein Wohnzimmer. Die Treppe ist steil und schmal. Würde ich mit kleinen Kindern oder Gehbehinderung nicht empfehlen. Kenne aber nur unser Zimmer. Für uns war die Raumaufteilung perfekt Von hier aus erreicht man alles im Centro Storico rasch zu Fuss. Unendlich viele Ess und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Anreise mit dem Zug ist wegen teurer Parkmöglichkeiten empfehlenswert.

Dejligt sted centralt i Genova

Fantastisk hotel. Smukt renoveret klassisk bygning. Indgangen snyder, men når man står ud på hotel-etagen er alt nyt og flot med designermøbler og spændende farver. Super søde og hjælpsomme i receptionen, som man lige skal gætte er i en anden bygning. Der er hyggeområde med te, kaffe og vand til fri brug. Der er kun godt at sige om dette sted, som dog kan være lidt svært at finde frem til.

We were one day late to check in and the staff were extremely friendly. But the location is right inside the old town and not easy to find. We had two small children below 10 and two luggages to pull around. The neighborhood was sketchy. (when we search for the hotel, we walk around a road with prostitutes and pee on the ground). We decided to book another hotel for the night and enter the old town during daylight). Because the location is in the old town, all the great sights are within walkable distance. The room is spatious and clear. The staff were very helpful.

Klockrent hotell i gamla staden. Bekvämt och fräscht rum. Bra lounge på våningsplanet med vatten, kaffe/te och småtugg. Unik upplevelse att få bo i ett ombyggt gammalt palats. Dock passar inte kvarteren runt hotellet alla sorters resenärer. Gatuprostitution, narkomaner och småkriminella framförallt i gränderna norr om boendet. Klarar man av det är det ändå ett toppenläge för att utforska Genova.

A very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. They even prepared a very nice surprise for our daughter who had a birthday during our stay. The location is excellent, close to water front and Piazza de Ferrari, and just a 5 min walk from San Giorgio metro station.
