"The hotel itself is nice although quite on the outside of Venice. You need to take a water bus to get into the city (takes ~40 minutes to St. Marks square). The check in lady was also super nice.
The reason I am giving the hotel a bad review is that the air conditioning in our room was not working. Despite repeated attempts by the front desk to fix this at night, nothing worked and it ended up reaching nearly 80 degrees F inside overnight, all night, making it hard to sleep. The solution offered at the end was to just "open the windows": however, it was super loud outside, even at 11:30 PM, so that wasn't a viable option. For quite an expensive nightly rate at a worldwide brand, I would at least expect the AC to be working in the room. I've never had this issue at any other Hilton property across the globe.
Also there is no luggage scale- again, a rarity in hotels I've stayed out across the world."
