"Cheap, convenient, comfy"

"This hotel is like a Super 8 in USA. Cheap furniture etc. Receptionist was missing when we showed up. There was a machine that claimed to check people in so we started putting in our information etc and it just won’t do anything. Finally, the receptionist showed up and claimed that machine didn’t work. He checked us in. We paid almost $350 a night for the room, and felt it was too expensive for what we got."

"Having a restaurant and bar on site was very helpful when getting in late. Staff was very helpful and fun (Jonathan and Isley). Good selection of whiskey and our room was very fancy. No mini-fridge and the most expensive place we stayed on our trip but it was great and we'd go back. Free parking is a bonus."

"Overall I think we much enjoyed our stay. The street this guest house is located on is where many of the local tours depart from, so we only had a short walk to start our journeys, most days. The place itself does feel a bit dated (to be expected) but it was stocked with towels, coffee and other things to make us comfortable. The one thing I’d say could’ve made our stay better would be an updated mattress."

"The location was really central and lovely, Though the bar across the street is a bit noisy at night. It didn't bother us too much but if you're a really light sleeper it might be annoying. Check in was pretty smooth. We had the door code upon check-in but it took about 20 minutes for them to respond with our room code, which was a bit of a pain. We couldn't get into the room till 3:30pm. 30 mins after check in time. All in all we had a very comfortable stay in beautiful Inverness."
