「What did we like? Here goes..warm welcome, clear information on breakfast and room details. Although this looks like an old hotel it I assume it has had a lot of money spent on upgrades to retain "Ye Olde" feel to it. Room was not massive but very well decorated with lovely solid sleigh bed. En-suite was very up to date with nice shower and endless hot water. Tiled floor but underfloor heating so not getting back in to bed with ice cold feet after a 3am loo trip. Sockets at bed side tables...

「Great stay - entry was easy and without any fuss. The room is large and bed was great, ample power points with USB A and C. We stayed overnight on the way to Loch Ness Marathon - will be back during the daytime to visit the rewinding centre properly, as it looked really interesting. Good parking at the main car park, with EV chargers - a great perk in the not-so-well-served highlands 」

「A very cosy house right in the heart of Fort Augustus. The living room was lovely with the fireplace, though we forgot to ask for more firewood and it got a bit cold at night. It was very peaceful—I think we were the only guests! The room is small if you're travelling with luggage, but very comfortable and warm. The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was basic but decent.」

「位置非常棒的酒店，背靠一座山，山上有小瀑布和Hiking Trail。酒店正面正对着尼斯湖。这是我们近二十天旅行住过的最有特色的酒店。酒店的年轻女经理也非常能干和友好，我认为酒店经理是一个店的灵魂，你对酒店的感觉开始于服务人员的第一个表情和动作。最赞的是早餐，味道很棒。只是门前的牛没在。经理说大家都在找牛。我们去那几天，放牛的Lady换山头了，到凉快的森林里去放了，因为她穿的有点多，前一周那里出乎意料的热了起来。」

「Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.」

「Beyond Impressive. I arrived via public transport in the later afternoon and collected my keycard which was nearly presented in a little envelope by the bar staff (they have a restaurant and bar in the adjacent building). I booked a shared room, however, I was the only guest in this room. There was an impeccably clean shower and toilet with soap in each and a complimentary towel. The room was well heated for winter and had a clothing rack with hangars and two bunk beds. The view of the stream...
