"The staff were excellent - so responsive and fun. Accommodations are basic but clean and a good value. We would stay there again. Close to Fort William but quieter. The highbridge-commando trail is within walking distance and it is handy to have a spar market next door."

"The hotel was very nice. The staff were wonderful and the breakfasts were very tasty. My only complaint was the bed. It was so lumpy and sunken in the middle that we had to take off the mattress topper off to make it possible to sleep and even then it wasn’t great."

"Excellent hotel ! Very convenient if you want a beautiful properly with amazing meals. The chef is special… besides all the other great dishes, Indian food was authentic. Great selection of alcohol .. we enjoyed G&Ts. Very close to Fort Augustus, great for visiting the Great Glen Gin distillery and Loch Ness ! The location of the hotel is stunning"

"Messaging from Hotels.com was inconsistent. In some cases I could not open the message. The 2 step process for getting 2 codes was cumbersome. The hot water was only tepid at best. It was nice to be so close to a cafe both for dinner and breakfast. Parking was fine."
