"This is a no-frills motel. The rooms and bathroom are small. However, we did sleep very well. The beds were comfy. The location is great, out in the wilderness. The staff was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions on where to eat breakfast. I would stay again."

"Exceeded expectations! Cabin appeared brand new and filled with everything needed. Host was kind & gracious. While we didn’t attend the night campfire, including s’mores- it’s a must for families with young children. We also enjoyed Talkeetna and ate 2x at Denali Brewpub only a mile away (not downtown Talkeetna)."

"We were a little disappointed in the building and some features. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a barbecue going on the afternoon when we arrived and it was rather chaotic. The coffee pot did not work in the room but was replaced when we went down to desk ( once to report and second to determine if a replacement was available/ coming). We had to ask for linen and did not get new bedding the 3days/4 nites we stayed ( maybe this is the norm now?). The breakfast was bland and did not change. We thought everything was relatively old and outdated, including rugs etc. the fridge was a good size but it had a layer of dust and handprints on it. I felt this was not representative of most Best Western plus hotels we've stayed at."

"First they checked us in and when we got to our room and there was other peoples luggage’s in the room. Then they put us in the older side which reminded me of a hospital bed and bathroom. The shades were old school and it was daylight all night in our room. The place was so crowded with all the tour buses that always stay there. I’ve stayed there before and it wasn’t as bad but will not stay there again"

"Housekeeping never showed up. Staff super inexperienced and overwhelmed by the massive influx of cruise passengers. Food was extremely salty. I guess if you are a cruise passenger it makes sense. But when traveling on our own I will avoid Princess hotels due to the massive overcrowding by cruisers"
