「The lady at check-in was super nice and friendly. The process was easy. The cabin was cute and clean. Its felt spacious even being so small. We traveled as a family with three kids and everyone was comfortable. We especially liked the soft towels, extra pillows, and warm blankets. The only issue we had was the water in the shower. It smelled really strong of something I have not smelled before. Kind of like sulfur. It left our hair dry and smelly.」

「We loved staying at the Talkeetna Lodge. The views of the mountains (including Denali) were spectacular!! The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly as were the servers in the restaurant. The only downside was there was one bartender (tattoos on face) who wasn't very friendly and seemed to have an attitude. Other than that, this was one of the best places we stayed in Alaska!! Thank you!」

「The view from the main deck was absolutely incredible, but none of the rooms have a view. The staff are friendly, but there’s only so much they can do because the place is set up to extract as much profit from each guest as possible. Even refilling your own coffee mug costs $4.75. The rooms and food are pretty mediocre. Also there’s no AC, and it got very warm in our room.」

「This is basically an upscale motel. Room was very small. Staff was very rude with exception of the young man who picked us up to take our bags to the parking lot. Our first impression was from the lady with the beak screeching at us to move our car when we were trying to unload.」
