"The location is amazing! It is just a few miles from Denali National Park. We stayed at the motel section and it was clean and seemed fairly new. The beds were comfortable. The shower was good. They have soap and shampoo. There is a fridge and microwave too. The windows open with a screen on them and they have a big fan mounted on the wall, so we stayed cool and comfortable. They even sell bear spray for $50 at the check in desk. There are several cafes and shops on the front part of the motel. The RV section is in a gravel parking area behind the motel near the trees. The area felt safe. They have quiet hours after 10 pm. It was clean, comfortable, and was better than we were expecting. It’s still expensive, just like everything else in Alaska, but the location and good condition of the room were worth the price."

"The cabin 5 was more spacious than expected. Screened in porch was fantastic for moose watching and listening to the Montana river/creek was so calming. The kitchen was equipped with necessities and the whole place was spotless. The lodge folks were kind and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The property is VERY spread out, rooms a bit dated, and there is only one water filler at the main lodge (which can be quite a distance from your room). Local hiking trails can be accessed and there are a couple of restaurant options, but no general market on premise or nearby and no refrigerators in the rooms,so access to food/shopping options is very restricted. No pool, hot tub or sauna either. Very quiet and located in the trees - so if you're looking for quiet and remote could be the right place."
