This cabin was absolutely beautiful and so clean. We loved it and would definitely recommend it !! The cabin was so cozy, we wished we stayed there longer than one night ! The bed was very comfortable, great shower and they even left a banana loaf for us :) nothing negative to say !

Comfort and style in the midst of the woods. We enjoyed our short stay in this lovely and cozy cabin with all the creature comforts. There was plenty of natural light (as long as as sun is out, lol) and modern amenities. Quiet and private location. It was for me, a very comfortable setup to relax and be away from A-Town, where we drove in from. Some things to note and appreciated: the gravelled area out front for our personal parking space; the cute porch furnished with 2 chairs and a small table, to sit outside and soak in the sun while enjoying a drink; the touches of esthetic rustic/country decor, the super comfortable queen sized bed, and oh-so comfy pillows, linens, quilts, a kitchen size sink, mini keurig, electric kettle, toaster  microwave, some glassware and silverware, and THE lovely bathroom, ALL made for a wonderful getaway very pleasant and relaxing.  This place offered more than I expected and it was especially CLEAN, which is high on my list of expectations. The conveniences of the cabin and nearby drive into town, local shops and restaurants, trails and look-out have me looking forward to our next stay. I highly recommend these accommodations. One of the owners I spoke to, Twila, was and is very quick to respond though she was out of state. Originally, we were to stay at theTalkeetna Lodge up the road but I am very glad to find this as our alternative. It will be our first choice the next time ;)

When we arrived, we were amazed at the scenery it beheld, it started to snow slightly and starting to get dark causing a perfect setting with the fairy lights causing our cabin to just look amazing. On the porch, there’s a table and 2 chairs if yall want to just sit and enjoy the scenery. Inside was just cute like everything on the wall had so many decoratives and we were also provided with kitchenware such as a toaster, microwave, a Keurig, and a water heater. There was 2 plugable heaters, one in the bathroom, and one in the main room. Although we came into an issue where one heater seemed defective but it was just the wall outlet not working however, the lovely owners gave us a replacement anyways in case without us even asking, we only told them about it to see if there’s a special way to use the”defective” heater yet they still gave a new one. There was also a tv above the dining table which has Netflix and more, was kinda small but I didn’t mind that much. We also had plates, cups, mugs and utensils. They provide coffee, tea, and hot cocoa and also a banana bread. The bathroom was packed with hand soap, towels and hand towels and the shower had shampoo, conditioner, and a soap that smelled very good that we asked the owner what it was and they told us the specific kind. We had a special stay and would go here again and again everytime we have a chance to go. More than 10/10 rating.

This was a very cute cabin that offered a remote location feel but close enough to town to go enjoy the historic town vibes. Water pressure I. The shower could have been better, but overall, a lovely place to stay.

We absolutely loved staying in the Birch Cabin. We loved it so much that we booked it for the next night after only being there a few hours. All of the details were perfect, including custom towels, stickers, a loaf of fresh baked banana bread, and even a personalized message by the door. We will be returning!!

Away from the hustle and bustle of Talkeetna. Grounds are safe and serene. Enjoy the sounds of the distant trains and rooster crowing. Beautiful cabin inside and out. Spotty wifi makes working from home difficult. Nice deck complete with bistro table and chairs.
