Bluntly, the room wasn't clean. I had to sweep the floor and wipe the toilet. Half the parking lot was flooded. We were put in some kinda sketchy studios by the highway rather than the B&B we were expecting. That said, the owner was extremely kind and tried to make it up to us. We changed our plans and ended up staying in Anchorage that night so their willingness to refund the rest of the stay was very kind. If you stay, make sure you're in the main B&B. It looks quaint.

Quiet area, staff was very friendly and helpful, lots of options on what to watch on the TV, and breakfast every morning. Second time staying here, and it is still the best option in my opinion.

Older property in residential neighborhood. We stayed 7 nights. There was no full breakfast as advertised or the reviews indicated. It was not even a continental breakfast quality. Nothing hot, just cold cereal. The owners family had a medical situation and was gone. The staff brought in to help does not cook. I've made 2 attempts to contact and ask for a partial refund to cover the $45 breakfast we had to get elsewhere.

Great place! Breakfasts are something unique and yummy every day. There are extra full bathrooms in the hallways if your spouse is taking too long in your bathroom or you want to get ready at the same time. The living room even has a massage chair! I enjoyed it several times. Also, they have plug ins for cars with block heaters; smart.

We overall enjoyed our stay. I was worried after booking after seeing alot of bad reviews... but honesty it was perfect for us. As long as youre not expecting fancy and do not mind a little outdated- its a great place to stay. Pros: -Decent free breakfast -Warm rooms -Very nice staff -Mini fridge in room Cons: -Not nearly enough hot water to use jacuzzi in bathroom- we tried twice -Shampoo and soap- but no conditioner 😫 -Rooms not soundproof as advertised- but luckily we did not have very loud people staying around us. Overall, we would stay again, especially for the good price!!

Room was amazing. The heated floors and jacuzzi bath were just what you need after a long day or evening of cold weather activities. The host was a great resource of great places to eat and the daily breakfast was looked forward to every day. Delicious and strong coffee

Tasty breakfast, clean rooms, welcoming office staff and hard-working hospitality staff. Is it the Hilton? Of course not. But why would you go on a bucket list adventure only to stay in a homogenized hotel? Get the local flavor at 7Gables. Already looking forward to my next stay there.

Room was spotlessly clean. Shower head sprayed out into the bathroom and when I mentioned it the next morning, they took care of it while I was out and about. Jacuzzi tub was huge but i didnt have the time to make use of it. Breakfast was very good with the usual offerings of cereal, pancake/waffle makings, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, juice, coffee and a hot dish that changed each morning. The owner, Leisha, sang me happy birthday over a chocolate chip brownie with a candle in it. :) The inn has a laundry room and includes detergent so that you dont need to buy your own. The bookshelves are amazing. There is a really nice living room/sitting area to relax in. Kureg coffee available 24/7. I would definitely stay there again!

The best part about staying here were the friendly. If you manage your expectations then this place will suit all your needs. It is an older place and definitely no bells and whistles. Depending on where you are, you can hear the garage door opening and floor creaking but that didn’t both us much at all. The shower head can use some work because it was spraying water everywhere. Breakfast was simple and good. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for our first time in Fairbanks.
