Tasty breakfast, clean rooms, welcoming office staff and hard-working hospitality staff. Is it the Hilton? Of course not. But why would you go on a bucket list adventure only to stay in a homogenized hotel? Get the local flavor at 7Gables. Already looking forward to my next stay there.

Room was spotlessly clean. Shower head sprayed out into the bathroom and when I mentioned it the next morning, they took care of it while I was out and about. Jacuzzi tub was huge but i didnt have the time to make use of it. Breakfast was very good with the usual offerings of cereal, pancake/waffle makings, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, juice, coffee and a hot dish that changed each morning. The owner, Leisha, sang me happy birthday over a chocolate chip brownie with a candle in it. :) The inn has a laundry room and includes detergent so that you dont need to buy your own. The bookshelves are amazing. There is a really nice living room/sitting area to relax in. Kureg coffee available 24/7. I would definitely stay there again!

The best part about staying here were the friendly. If you manage your expectations then this place will suit all your needs. It is an older place and definitely no bells and whistles. Depending on where you are, you can hear the garage door opening and floor creaking but that didn’t both us much at all. The shower head can use some work because it was spraying water everywhere. Breakfast was simple and good. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for our first time in Fairbanks.

Staff was great and very kind, we were able to check in early which was so helpful in the cold. It was perfect for what we needed, cozy and comfortable with a beautiful view of snow capped trees.

The property and room were beautiful! Really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub! Breakfast wasn’t mentioned at check in and didn’t seem like it was going to be prepared anytime soon or at all when we left a little after 10. So maybe we misunderstood when we booked. But it was a cute place to stay for a night in Fairbanks. Short drive from downtown!

This is a cute bed & breakfast. I loved the homemade breakfast, I thought it brought a touch of love that other accommodations don’t or can’t do. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I enjoyed being here.

The most important aspects that I look in a hotel are safety, comfort, and quietness. 7 Gables was missing the last two as there were people talking loudly outside my bedroom and the owner does the checking of guests near my room. It’s a matter of common sense to keep the voices down or much better, to move the office for checking away from any rooms. I even had to turn the TV volume up as I could not hear it because of the voices and laughter outside my room. Add the lack of comfort of the bed. I didn’t sleep well as it had a dimple/sunk mattress. It was an overused and noisy mattress. The lady who owns the place is kind, the downside was the inconsiderate people staying there.
