"This hotel is perfect for my short trips to the area. The airport shuttle is a big plus, and it’s close enough to everything I need or want to get to around town. The staff is always friendly and the snack shack has great options. "

"7 Gables Inn is a quaint bed and breakfast , filled with old world charm and warm inviting atmosphere. I arrived quite late and was welcomed by one of the owners. Check-in was in a lovely kitchen, where I was offered home baked cookies. There is a waterfall feature in the foyer and I was fortunate enough to book the waterfall room. Vintage furniture , beautiful vintage decor and bedding all added so much comfort and enjoyment to my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was immaculately cleaned, and there was a desk, wifi. tv and even a dvd player. The bath was large with a jetted tub, so nice after a day of travel. Breakfast each morning was homemade by the lovely wife and included an inviting variety of things sure to please anyone’s taste. Breakfast is served family style in the upstairs kitchen, where the tables are set with lovely China and real silverware. I enjoyed hearing native Alaskans tell stories of their heritage and folklore while having coffee in the living room and continuing as we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The home is open to wander and there are so many treasures to see, the greenhouse entrance to the Inn, the bookcases filled with interesting books and the cross-stitched names on each guest room. Oh and the incredible stained glass throughout. This place is not like a chain hotel, it is like staying at the home of a favorite relative. The price is also very affordable for the area!"

"It's a lovely property situated not too far from the airport. Lisha, the Host, was warm, friendly and welcoming. My room was clean and cozy, and the bed very comfortable. During my next visit to Fairbanks I know where I'll stay! "
