"Christy is a great host. She is very welcoming and attentive. The property is in a nice quiet part of town but not far from the beach and stores. I enjoyed laying in the hammock and walking through the beautiful, huge garden. It had everything I needed for a great stay. I didn't want to leave but I will be back."

"Beautiful hotel, and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Lovely, spacious room with nice balcony and views of the ocean, pool, and boardwalk. The ocean is very loud, but when you close the sliding door, not a sound! Only negative about the room is lack of closet space: only 2 drawers and very few hangers (they sent up more). The 2 pool areas are beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised to find lounge chairs always available- we are used to guests claiming chairs early in the day and being shut out. The 6th floor pool (s) has comfortable lounge chairs with thick cushions. We enjoyed walking on the boardwalk and ate at some of the beachfront restaurants. We also enjoyed eating at the hotel- excellent food. Highly recommended this place!"

"The Turtle Nest room is by far the best room including a serene viewing of the property and ocean however some tree leaves may obstruct the view its still very beautiful, room is clean and great tv n a.c. had a water issue, it happens when traveling abroad being though they use big canisters to cycle the water, overall i had a great time and i will visit again ."

"All rooms face the water, the deck, pool and bar were great and it is just a few steps to the water with the breakwater rocks close by creating a protected area that you can swim out of into open water. Michelle gave a great rum tasting for 15 of us on Wednesday morning (!) complete with sing a long. One of the best things about Soco is that it is at the end of the boardwalk, perfect for early morning and late afternoon walks along the water."

"Beautiful ocean view and gorgeous beach area. Extremely helpful and cordial staff. Entertainment at night in outdoor setting and loved the Sizzle restaurant night particularly, along with a great buffet brunches. Well run and well done! Arranged a highly recommended catamaran cruise with Tamiani too"

"The room was fine, clean etc. we did have an issue with the door lock, it wouldn’t unlock, but fortunately the hotel staff came to the rescue and repaired the door lock. The features were fine and we had no complaints. This is my favorite Barbados hotel, and when I return next time the Accra will be my first choice."
