My stay at the Hilton was just okay. The resort is clean, but definitely dated and in need of an upgrade. The biggest issue was the lack of hospitality from some of the front desk staff.
When I checked in on Friday, I had to wait until 6:00 PM for my room to be ready due to a late check-out from a previous guest. I was part of a group of seven, and because of the delay, I had to get ready in someone else’s room. They offered a complimentary Rum Punch, but I had to complain in order to get a different drink — not ideal.
On June 17th around 4:40 PM, the front desk staff were very rude and unwelcoming — not what you’d expect from a Hilton property. In contrast, the receptionist who checked me out on June 18th was kind and professional, which I appreciated.
I asked for a late check-out to make up for the late check-in and inconvenience, but it wasn’t accommodated.
Some staff were friendly, but overall, the customer service was inconsistent, and that alone would keep me from returning to this property. I hope management takes steps to improve the guest experience.
