"I didn't expect the apartment was located by a railroad track and a dog compound. the folding chair when I sat down was already broken and I fell on the floor, I didn't expect that renovation was going on at other apartments in the complex. I would say the apartment served my needs, but I would not book it next time"

"This is a very clean and nice apartment within a very close drive to the Kinkaid boat launch. Easy to locate and can fit a car with a boat in tow no problem. This spot was also much more quiet than the campground or RV spots nearby. They have a great porch and a grill and we didn’t bring something for it which made me sad. "

"Property was well-groomed and taken care of very clean. The extra bonuses like coffee, creamer, condiments et cetera were a great surprise. Spoke with the owner about getting different internet. Coverage from cellphone towers was not that great. I will definitely be staying at this property again when I'm in the area."

"We stayed here on a weekend mini vacation because my son had a college volleyball game nearby. The home was pristine and very cozy. Close to so many restaurants and rich in history. We loved the original hard wood flooring and overall atmosphere. 10 out of 10 recommend! Although we stayed in the winter so walking wasnt our choice of transportation we had a couple issues with parking, primarily bec we arent used to city lifestyle, that was the only difficulty that occured."

"Wonderful quiet townhouse on the golf course. Just a couple minutes to Galena. The pool at the club house was wonderful too!"

"Picked this place because it had on-site parking. My wife is disabled. Couple days before trip got email saying on street parking only - first come. Chicago has notorious bad parking. After complaining 2x ( had to park 3 blocks away) was able to park in back of building. Host ignored all communication after that. Property was clean but no numbers on doors and outside doors constantly left open. Felt unsafe. Code lock on door didnt work normally most times. Had to use key to secure door after...

"This place was so cute and perfect for our needs. My husband and I stayed here with our two college age boys for a quick getaway to Galena. My husband and I took the main bedroom while one of our sons took the 2nd bedroom and the other slept on the pull out bed in the loft. The decor is beautifully done with plenty of seating, a fully stocked kitchen, and lots of blankets, pillows, etc! "Great property, wonderful amenities and bonus that we could bring our dog! Included pet bowls (nice surprise) and a lovely fenced backyard! Our apartment was very roomy with a well-equipped kitchen, and a Keurig with k-cups was a great touch. Looking forward to staying again! Highly recommend!"
