"Convenient location and parking. Food was pretty good in the bar. Room would benefit from upgrading, it was dated and the bed was uncomfortable."

"Highly recommend this hotel! Great staff and beautiful room. We loved everything about it and look forward to staying here again!"

"Great hotel, lovely food, friendly staff and a comfy bed."

"Friendly staff, rooms clean, comfy beds, bathroom spotless, nice food , outside area ( tables) could do with a bit of a spruce"

"On our way to the Highlands we stopped over at the Fleece and were pleasantly surprised. Nice big room, comfy bed and good selection of food at the restaurant. Great breakfast in the morning!"

"A really lovely stay at the Derby Arms. The room was fantastic – modern, comfortable and very well equipped, with all the amenities you could want. The bed was particularly comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. I didn’t get the chance to eat there, unfortunately, but the menu looked excellent and definitely made me wish I’d had more time. A great combination of a traditional country pub and a comfortable, modern place to stay. I’d happily stay again – and next time I’ll make sure I try...

"Lovely place to stay with very friendly, helpful staff. Room was great although the fan provided was not the best, although this probably isn’t an issue for most months of the year! Breakfast was excellent."

"The Calfs Head is a charming country hotel. We ate in the conservatory which was lovely. The food was good but the desserts were excellent. The staff were delightful and the ambience was very comfortable."
