"The view is amazing. Nice experience. Be prepared for the midnight brightness for July though. They do provide eye mask. Only suggestion is that the grass near the path need some maintenance. It wet my pants when it's raining and it's a bit hard for my little one to walk through. Overall we enjoy our stay."
"Our stay at Goðaland Glamping was absolutely perfect! Everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
The peaceful surroundings made for a truly unforgettable experience, and every detail showed how much care goes into this place. Without a doubt, this was one of the best experiences of our trip to Iceland. We would highly recommend Goðaland Glamping to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing, and memorable stay. We can’t wait to come back!"
"It’s right on highway 1 between Selfoss and Vik so that’s a plus point, near by gas station and groceries store are also a plus point.
Breakfast spread is decent nothing special but great to grab and go or dine in before heading out.
I’m taking a star away because staff just put me in circles in helping a night cancellation charges and had me talk to multiple people instead of the one who would make the decision and in the end they gave me a wrong email
(Which bounced ) to contact manager, decent thing would be to just say no that we can’t help and I’d be on my ways."
"A fantastic location with wonderful views towards snow topped mountains, even in July! The cabin had everything we needed for a week’s stay. Also loved the way the cabins were positioned so to not overlook each other! Had a wonderful week. Thank you…"
"Don't stay here. Don't make this place so popular that I won't be able to book a room next time I come. It may not be for you. You may not want to be steps away from the most amazing falls you have ever seen. You may not want to be an easy drive away from Vik and the other stunning nearby sights. You may hate the idea of being 10 minutes from hiking a glacier. You may want food other than the excellent ones being served at their restaurant. Please, let this place be an undiscovered gem"
"We had a good two night stay. The room was clean and quiet. The restaurant provided a buffet breakfast which was good. Dinner was excellent. Parking was in front of the hotel rooms."
"This hostel is nicely set up with curtains on each bunk for privacy, your own light and plug in. The staff were exceptional. The sauna and hot tub were a really nice bonus. I’d recommend staying here."
