"Hotel was very comfortable and newly renovated. Interesting Historical details throughout. Staff was helpful when they could be reached but no-one answered the phone. Great Breakfast! And very convenient to historic downtown areas"
"I liked that the employees were very respectful and helpful and I have nothing that I didn't like about the place everything was 100 percent perfect I would recommend to anyone"
"We were greeted with a smile by Liz at check in. She was very professional & helpful. She knows her job. She also went above & beyond when we had a slight problem with our room & asked to b moved. She met that request with no problem. This lady needs a raise, LOL,!! The bed were comfy, room was clean & the breakfast was good with lots of choices. Very nice hotel. "
"The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and laughed about it later.
The resort itself was beautiful, quiet, and the staff were very friendly. The cabins were cozy and warm, as we were there in February/March when it was cold, and the exterior bath house was also very warm. It was clean and there was plenty of hot water.
I highly recommend if you're looking to escape into nature."
