Great hotel downtown with a nice restaurant and bar. The reception staff is a little gruff and unhelpful, but other than that we enjoyed our stay. Restaurant and bar staff is friendly and fun.

The property was very well maintained. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and offered cookies. The room was small but overlooked the city and the mountains. The next morning we watched as the train got ready for passengers. The breakfast buffet was very well organized and kept restocked throughout the morning

Absolutely beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The room was very clean, had a lot of outlets, and comfortable for the 4 night stay. Beautifully renovated. Enjoyed the view from the hotel room too. As it’s located right in downtown Elkins there are bars and restaurants just a walk away!

this is a small city hotel in downtown Wlkins WV. Many new updates, but keeping old hotel charm. Our room was comfortable, but too small to set up a yoga mat. Nice bathroom! Lounge was nice, breakfast was seved there. Also a evening dining area. Meals was great, portions were just right, no left overs. Choice this hotel due to walking distance to senic train ride. we happened to be there during the Maple Festival. Nightly free entertainment beyond rail station.

Loved the comfortable, yet classy feel. Didn’t like that the door to the room did not always lock when leaving and wouldn’t lock when inside.

This is a beautifully and tastefully restored boutique hotel in historic downtown Elkins. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The beds are super comfortable, and the bathrooms are very nice. The hotel has a wonderful bar and restaurant, and the food is superb. This was my 3rd stay at the Tygart. I will definitely be going back, and I highly recommend it!

Frisch saniertes, schönes Hotel in historischer Fassade.
