"We really enjoyed how peaceful it was. It was perfect for us. A little dated on the exterior but the interior was clean and had plenty of room for the 3 of us. Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, glassware, plates, full block of knives and even a wine opener and pizza wheel. Grocery stores are a short drive if you want to stay in and make your own meals. Small grills outside also. The white tail deer are amazing, and we saw plenty of them. Fawns, does and bucks. Some bucks still in velvet during our visit. Fredericksburg is a 2-hour drive for the wine enthusiasts. Lockhart is 1 hr. 15-minute drive for the BBQ enthusiasts. "

"We booked Horseshoe Bay for a guys’ golf trip, and it was everything we hoped for. From the start, the staff made check-in smooth and even had our tee times organized, which set the tone for a stress-free weekend. The rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect for groups — plenty of space to hang out after a long day on the course. The beds were comfortable, and the resort kept everything stocked and tidy throughout our stay. The golf courses themselves were the real star. Beautifully maintained fairways, challenging layouts, and stunning views made every round a blast. The pace of play was great, and we never felt rushed. Between rounds, the clubhouse was the perfect hangout — great food, cold drinks, and a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Off the course, the resort had everything we needed: a pool to cool off, a bar with plenty of TVs for catching the games, and restaurants with hearty meals that hit the spot after 18 holes. The staff was always friendly and quick with recommendations for nightlife and local spots, which made evenings just as fun as the days. Overall, Horseshoe Bay nailed it for our boys’ trip. Great golf, great vibes, and everything we needed in one place. Already planning to make this an annual tradition."

"The room was nice. Exactly what we needed. Tv was alittle small though. Outside other people were super loud. Music was being played loudly . And you could you could smell drugs being smoked. Through the walls."
