"Had to move rooms twice, seemed to be a fly issue around the hotel, plenty in my room and in the corridors and even around reception when I was telling them about it. Second room was half the size of the first room and TV didnt work. Staff were really helpful but whole experience was poor. Was second time staying here and unfortunatly the last."

"Clean room, spacious, good bed and linens, walk in shower. On site parking a plus though spaces tight owing to pillars and preponderance of large cars. Breakfast very basic and not particularly appetising. Too few staff and minimal effort to welcome and explain available choices. Check out day rushed owing to a planned power outage."

"Check in staff were friendly. Room seemed dated but that’s fine for the price, however there were issues. White stains on the brown cushions, shower head couldn’t be adjusted so was firing horizontally, and it was very hot and didn’t reduce in temperature when you turned the dial down, even all the way down. Hair dryer was unable to do hot air, only very slow cold air, TV was too outdated for the apps to work. Bed was fairly comfortable for the price, but noting special and the AC did work (eventually, after saying it was set to centrally controlled.) Parking is covered in the neighbouring shopping centre car park. Didn’t try the breakfast as seemed a tad expensive (£16). Not bad for the price, but these things would prevent me from returning unfortunately."

"We booked two rooms for one night last week. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and our specific needs for one person who is somewhat claustrophobic were taken seriously and several rooms options offered as available for them. The man at the desk on arrival, Hasan, was really helpful and understanding as was the lady on the desk the next morning and we had spoken to her by phone before we arrived too and received great service. There were areas which will soon need a bit of renovation but nothing of any concern. The rooms were lovely and clean, amenities great (coffee machine , Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries) and breakfast was spot on - hot food very well cooked and refreshed all the time. Car park underneath the hotel was convenient too. So big thank you from us."

"Property is a little tired and could do with some decorating. Careful when purchasing drinks from the bar as some bar staff will charge for service ( I’d understand more if they bought the drink to me in the lounge), only noticed when the same round of drinks were different prices. It’s a nice place in a good location, taxi into Bath is around £10. Staff are friendly enough."
